St John Rigby Primary
Head Teacher Adam Palmer
It is a real honour and a privilege to welcome you to St John Rigby Catholic Primary School.
My name is Adam Palmer and I joined the school in May 2014 having worked in a variety of schools in a variety of roles across the Diocese of Northampton. I have four children who are all at various stages in their primary education. I enjoy spending time with them playing sports, going swimming and trying to infect them with the same passion I have for music.
At St John Rigby, the excitement and responsibility in nurturing the gifts and talents of each and every one of our children is something that drives our day to day work. It goes so much further than their levels in English and Maths (although these are important) in that we must develop our children on their journey as lifelong learners, knowing that this is the way in which they will fulfil God’s plan for them. The prophet Micah reminds us that what God wants us to do is
To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly
This underpins the way in which we work with His precious children here at St. John Rigby whether it be in the classroom, in the playground, in the Christmas Nativity or on the sports field.
